AARP Income Tax Preparation (Feb – April)

Have your Federal and State Income Taxes prepared for free by AARP certified professionals.

For Low to Moderate income seniors. By appointment only. 647-3116.

AARP SMART DRIVER SAFETY COURSE- currently not available

You will learn defensive driving techniques, safety strategies, new traffic laws and rules of the road. You could receive a multi-year discount on your auto insurance. $15 for AARP members, $20 for non-members. Registration required call 647-3116.

Diabetic Shoe Clinic (May)

Are you diabetic on Medicare? If so, you are entitled to one pair or therapeutic shoes, plus inserts each calendar year, paid for by Medicare. Come and pick a shoe style and get measured for shoes. To register call 647-3116.

BLAST Babysitting Class - Currently Suspended

We are unable to offer this as there is no instructor available. Please consider contacting us if you are certified to offer such instruction.

Training includes: leadership; safe and responsible babysitting; basic care; safe play; infant and child Heart saver CPR and basic first aid. Class size is 14 candidates, Ages 11 to 14 years old, Fee is $40. To register call 647-3116. Certificates upon completion.

Free Christmas toys for low income children ages 6 months to 18 years old. Application required. Applications available at the BCC and we will pick up packages.
